Retinoblastoma Visualizations

The data shown here consist of three large single-cell transcriptomic datasets:

  1. Single-cell RNA-sequencing data from 5 adult human retina (24,445 cells) and publicly available retinal progenitor data (Lu et. al Developmental Cell May 18 2020).
  2. Single-cell RNA-sequencing data from 6 pediatric retinoblastoma tumors (27,825 cells). Inference of copy number variation was used to identify tumor cells.
  3. Single-cell RNA-sequencing of 11 orthotopic patient-derived xenografts, in duplicate (114,167 cells), and 2 organoid derived retinoblastoma tumors (13,864 cells).

We have annotated samples based on sample, cell-type, identity of transferred label cell-type, and cell-cycle. By using the gene expression tool, you can visualize expression of genes within any dataset, and generate violin/box plots to compare expression between samples.

The xenografts profiled in this dataset are included within the St. Jude Childhood Solid Tumor Network (CSTN). Many of the xenograft samples have undergone additional characterization including histology, electron microscopy, genome sequencing, clonal analysis and more. You can visit CSTN here to access additional sample data or to request cells.
